Updated For 2026!
Your 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Bracket Pool Tracker is here! This tracker was created in response to a request to simplify bracket tracking with our March Madness Bracket Spreadsheet Template. While it’s not fully automated, it should help you stay organized and keep tabs on your pool with less hassle.
Whether you're managing an office pool, tracking friendly bets, or just love March Madness, we've built an easy-to-use spreadsheet for Excel or Google Sheets. We know there are tons of downloadable brackets out there, but our sheets contain specialized features designed by spreadsheet addicts for a superior tracking experience.
What's New in 2026
We've focused on usability this year by adding basic Data Validation to the fields. This prevents entry errors and ensures that your pool scoring remains accurate throughout the tournament. The layout is optimized to handle a large volume of participants while remaining easy to read at a glance.
How to Use Your Tracker
- Download: Select your preferred format (Google Sheets or Excel) from the links below.
- Participant Entry: List your participants and their corresponding bracket picks in the designated columns.
- Update Results: As games conclude, enter the winners into the master results sheet.
- Automatic Scoring: Watch as the standings table updates to show which participant is currently leading your pool.
Secure Your Pool Standings
To ensure your pool standings are preserved and easily shareable with your group, we recommend exporting your tracker as a PDF at the end of each tournament weekend. In Google Sheets, navigate to File > Download > PDF Document (.pdf). For a clean look, remember to toggle off "Show gridlines" before exporting.
